UCF Students --->

I need to take one class that is not in the College of Business, but other then that it can be anything I want. What I need to know, is what is the easiest 3 hour class that any of you have taken. Thanks for any help

general psychology with dr brophy was pretty easy because of the MASSIVE amounts of extra credit assignments he gives... but now i hear he's a little bit harder.

When do you need to take the class?

If it's in the Spring, take HFT 4762, Current Practices in the Airline Industry, it's an easy A and the teacher is cool.

One of my friends took Beginning Bowling to up his GPA and all he did in the class was bowl on different teams.

I took Beginning Tennis in last summer and it was cake. Both Bowling and Tennis classes are PEL****.

If you want to take a foreign language class, take Beginning Italian with Grazia Spina. I haven't taken the class, but I know her and she's REAL easy. If you tell her you know me, I bet she really would hook you up with an A.:cool:

If you don't feel like taking a totally worthless class try CGS 3175, Internet Applications. Keith Garfield was the instructor I think...

Basically its an HTML course designed to teach you to make a website.

I took it my last semester there, didn't buy a single book, only went to turn in my assignments and still earned an easy A. Tests are open book/open notes too.

I just put my resume and personal info. on there about 3 wks. ago, but no hits yet.

I just graduated, spring 03. The only job call I've had so far was something I applied to via one of the job search engines.

I know the feeling, I was an engineering major my first 3yrs at UCF. First EE, then ME.

I soooo wish I would have stuck with it, perhaps then I wouldn't be in this situation now (graduated, no job, and no one intrested in hiring me).

Oh well...

Funny how we all started very similar... I was initially ME, but after a day, I put a stop to that. Thank god for orientation.

i guess i'm the odd-one out, computer science... i can't WAIT till i can't find a job w00t

i'll prolly be working my low paying helpdesk support job for quite a while :(

Nah you aren't the odd one out, the engineering college took over your college 3 years ago. As for me, I just officially changed my major to finance from ME. I SOOO didn't want to but running my business and having horrible study habits forced it on me. I ran my GPA into the ground despite the fact that I really thought the classes were interesting. I'm happy to say that my grades were in the top 10%......of non-oriental people in my classes! I hate to stereotype ,and yes I had some oriental friends w/ lower grades than me, but on the other hand if it weren't for ONE vietnamese guy named Kahn that broke every curve we could have had by like 30 points, I could have passed 2 classes.
I may end up going back...pending how my new business does especially if I graduate and can't find a job. I actually had 2 people in my classes w/ me that already had another bachelor's degree but couldn't find work so they jumped into ME/SE so they could have a shot @ getting a job

If you own your own business, consider majoring in Management instead of Finance.

If you have the time, take MAN 4802, it's called Entrepreneurship. It's an elective in the MAN program, I took it and it tells you everything you need to know about what it takes to start and run and business.

thanks for the suggestion. I just picked Finance to get my foot in the door to the business building so I'll consider that.

Have fun in Cornerstone :) I still can't believe I had to waste 6 credit hours on that class AND I had to pay for it too :mad:

As much as people curse Cornerstone (me included), it was a useful class.

My friends at FSU, UF, UNF, USF, Stetson, etc. who are majoring in business say they didn't have much preparation for their upper-level business courses after I told them about Cornerstone and they said they felt like they were thrown in the deep end all of a sudden.

There is no doubt in my mind the UCF bus. program is definitely one of the best around, I can talk circles around all my friends when it comes to business.:cool:
