Ok, so the other day i was working on my car, and I noticed that it sounds really cool when I was driving around with the lid to the aircleaner off, the carburetor sounds cool :D I saw that edelbrock sells an air cleaner that is a little triangle, made out of mesh. I'd imagine that would allow the carburetor sound to travel out so i can hear it, eh? And is this a good value, it was only like 20 bucks, but are there better air cleaners that flow more air then that? Thanks!

Not a huge fan of those triangle shaped foam air cleaners. The foam never seems to last very long and they don't always fit a QJet carb very well. Try a commonly available 14x3" open element air cleaner with a 1.5" drop base. Cheap ones typically won't fit very well over a QJet (the acclerator pump arm hits the base) but a high quality one like Edelbrock or other companies sell will usually clear without spacers (and don't cost much more). Even if they don't you can stack up a few gaskets to get just enough clearance without hitting the hood.
And you'll hear those secondaries scream when you lay into it, just like they do with no lid.
