Need Advice

I'm currently running a heads/cam car making 360.2 RWHP (STD) and so far a best ET of 13.6, (first time at the track, there's more there). This car is a true daily driver and runs fine, it is my only means of transportation.

I do want more HP, I would like to make about 450 or even 500 at the wheels, but again remember the car is a daily driver. Should I leave the thing as is? Can I really have a true daily driven car that makes numbers like that or am I out of my mind.

If the answer is yes which way is the best route? I've thought about a NA 396 type setup on one hand or a 355 Blown setup as the other alternative. Which setup would provide the most reliability and driveability, blown or not blown.

Blown hands down is very easy to make huge reliable HP, but it does cost. You got to figure a 383 or 396 will last a max of 40k. Unless you get a hell of a engine. A 355 with low comp and nice heads will make 450 rwhp all day long. It will be very streetable and get great gas milage(Depending on cam). If your nice on you car and not runing more than 10 psi it should last a good while, but than again if you hard core racer you have to ready for things to break. Break they will trannies,rears, and anything else that gets the wrath of 500rwhp. Its not just as simple as puting a blower on. You need fuel systems and internal build to have reliability. Also Tuning which can be a problem. If I where you, I would just get a 125 shot and call it quits unless you have 5+k to play with. A N20 setup will get you 450 very easy considering you already have 362rwhp.
