my best time to date is 12.0 @ 117 with 1.8 60' .. thats with a totally stock tune and 3600# .. 4.10s and 26" slicks

i wanna get some ideas where my mph gonna be after the following..

100 shot nitrous
about 50-70# weight reduction off the front (running skinnies instead of my ZR1s, tubular K member and A arms)
a dyno tune .. hopeing for at least 30-40 hp increase
running 28" slicks

thanx :)

ps. this is in continuation of my 28" slick thread. i basically wanna know if i will have problems with tire "growth" or not !

I think you should pick up another 8-10 mph with the nos plus weight reduction. Maybe an additional 2 with tuning

A VERY basic rule of thumb is 100 HP of N2O shot will net 1 second ET loss if used the entire 1320. This is for cars in our HP range. This veries slightly between vehicles and my opinion is:
The more efficient an engine is the less N2O helps it.

A hundred horse shot in a Pro/Stocker may net a tenth.

HInk

The same GENERAL rule applies... 100 HP shot = 10 MPH gain in MPH. Be ye aware that some cars do - some don't get these type of gains. SOME may even net more than the 10 MPH!

Depends on many factors but engine effiency, in my opinion, is one of them!

Let me add that another GENERAL rule is... 100#'s of weight loss will net you 1+ MPH and a loss of .10 in ET. Another benefit of weight loss is: LESS BREAKAGE! A lighter car is easier on EVERYTHING! I have my T/A down to 3390 race weight with driver. Not super lite but getting there!

You will be in the 126-128 mph range. Im sure you could hit 130 with a 150 hp jetting.

with the taller tire, without more info form your runs, shift points and gearing,etc...i estimate a 122-125 mph...with same 60'

let us know how it goes

whoops missed some vital info... make that 123-126 mph...

prove me wrong..a 130 trap would be frigging awsome... i would try to give you my changes in trap, but i made too many drastic changes for it to be any kind of accurate...
