a/d/s subs

anybody own one of these? i'm negotiating a deal, but wondering if a DVC a/d/s compares to a DVC Alpine type-R. Haven't decided if i should get one or two, or what i'll power them with, but i'd like to hear thoughts on it.

a/d/s is a quality company. Don't have any personal experience with their subwoofers though.

Ditto :D! Try and get a chance to listen to both if you can so you can decide which you like better.
