Route Pack 1

I just came from reading the C5 forum and they have a thread regarding www.thewaxtest.com. (http://www.thewaxtest.com.) If you read the results of the wax test you will see that Zaino didn't score very well, at least initially.
Anyone have any thoughts. I was surprised to see that spelling errors in the instructions were such a big deal. Also, I've never heard anyone complain about Zaino's smell.
Anyone have any reasonably sane explanation as to what might have happened here?

http://web.camaross.com/bb/rolleyes.gif Well, just from reading some of their comments about Zaino and other premium waxes/polishes, I'd say they're clueless when it comes to detailing. For one, they grossly exaggerated the application time it takes to achieve great results and who knows how they really applied the stuff. Plus, who applies any wax or polish to one small panel. You cant judge sh!t like that anyhow. What about the quality of the paint on their panel? Is it automotive grade with clear coat? Was the paint prepped properly? Who knows... They even claim "unimpressive" results with many other premium products costing twice, three, or four times as much. Come on, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to get good results with these products. Take comparison tests like this with a grain of salt. Listen to the "actual" users of the products, be it Zaino, Klasse, Pinnacle or whatever and see how people like them in REAL WORLD applications. I like Zaino just fine, especially when compared to those products that cost hundreds of $$ for ONE bottle. If they dont like their results, then fine, dont use Zaino, and send "unused" portions to me. http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
Oh, and as far as the smell goes, I dont sit around sniffing Zaino. And it's no big deal when applied either.

I would bet they made the all to common rookie mistake of putting way to much Zaino on. I've read it all here. Takes to long to dry. To many steps. With Zaino, less is best.

There is a good post about that test on the LS1.com board. I believe they received an extremely large number of e-mails from Zainoholics reaming them. There are alot of things in their write-up that were definitely in error.
