I get confused all of the time on this what is lean and what is rich...i know my car is running at 12.1 is that ok and is it rich/lean?
I was also told that running this way would clog up a cat if i had one is that true?

14.7 is stoic, higher numerically is lean, lower numerically is rich. I'll let someone else decide if 12.1 is too rich.

If your car is running a A/F of 12 underboost conditions it is running rich, but that is what you want under boost conditions. It sounds to me that you are okay. Under full Boost my A/F was at 11.7 to give you some comparision. Also it was at about 9-10 psi. As for clogging your cats, I would say since you car like most blown cars are not running in boost conditions all the time your cats will be fine for a long while. But don't forget that over time a cat does get"clogged" by just doing its job, in some cars it takes about 5 years and in others it takes longer. That is why in most cases where guys that put on a "off-road" pipe say that there car is running so much faster that it did with the cat on. I would venture to say that the car is probably a couple of years old and the cats were starting to get restrictive. Also if you were to put on a new hig flow cat I am sure it would flow great and it would also feel like the car got faster. Hope this helps.

Thanks, i dont have a cat right now im thinking of getting one to cut down on the raspiness of my exhaust at 3000 rpm and up i hope that will help but doesnt hurt my RWHP #'sas for my A/F it was done on a wide band tune so i guess its ok:)
