Which rear gear ratio?

I am going to order the moser this week. I currently have 3.42's and it seems to be a snail off the line, ie not much low end torque. I am thinking about going 3.73's, 3.90's or 4.10's. My car is weekend only, not daily driver, what do you guys think I should get.
Thanks,
Ed

IMHO ... I think 4.10's is going to tall since you run out of 1st gear very quickly and would probably balze the tires to pieces (anything but slicks) in 1st and most likely 2nd. 3.73's is a good choice but I still think with all your torque the 3.42's should be doing fine, especially on a DOT street tire (DR's). Maybe you have just gottne used to how quick the car really is and it now seems slow. Unless you have documented 60' times it is hard to say your car is slow off the line. My wife reminds me all the time how fast my car really is whenever she drives it ... it really seems slow to me but it's still running 11.80's at 117+ on 275/40x17 Nitto DR's with an automatic and Currie 9"+ rearend. Just seems slow to me I guess.

My final input .... 3.73's (I run 3.70 in my T/A)

I also have the 3.73. With the SC, first and second gears are reving so fast and spinning tires like nothing, no fun. Third gears is still awesome and revs really fast.

I can't imagine driving a 4.10 with the SC and will not get it for me since my car is also mostly a weekend car.

3.73 with SC and M6 works out great.

I've had 3.42's and 3.73's in.

I personally like the 3.42 the best it seems to keep the car into the boost more per gear.

I would go with the 3.50 gear i believe you can get it with that rear.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I haven't heard too many problems with the moser rear end, there will always be a few.
Richmond sells a 3.55 gear, but moser does not offer it. I could just buy the housing/axle kit along with some other parts and have someone set it up, especially after that horror story with those gears incorrectly installed.
I do know that the reluctor ring has to be pressed onto the differential carrier assembly. That seems to be the only tricky part of the install, other than the normal gear set up procedure.
I have ruled out the ford 9-inch due to the loss of the abs.

The 3.42 is a good ratio for a blower car.
