I have a 94 Z28 and have a YS-Trim Blower. I also have the motorplate from MadManracing, Tubular K-Member and manual rack and pinion. The Problem I am having is running a 4" intake tube out of the Blower and missing the Steering Shaft......there just isn't enough room to make a nice radiused curve with piping and not hit the Steering shaft. It would be much easier (I think) to relocate the Blower to the Passenger side of the car. So dose anyone make a relocation bracket for the YS-Trim blower? Also I had to cut up my lower bracket that came with my orignal S-trim Blower to get the YS-trim blower to fit, and that worries me because I know it is not as stout as it should be. Anyone face the same problems??

Last year when droppind an LT1 into my neighbors 66 GTO we realized the sterring shaft ran directly in the path of the drivers side headders. To remedy it we put 2 universals in the steering shaft with a yoke to hold it where we wanted. I don't know if thats possible but it could be a solution.

This picture proves that it can be done! http://para.noid.org/~lj/1000hp/images/inletfrombottom.jpg
The tube was built by Top of the Hill (http://www.topofthehillpc.com) and is 4" with all mandrel bends. The blower is a ys-trim.

Here is a cheap alternative-had to really stretch it out to keep it from collapsing under boost. Couldn't do a solid tube and keep the strut tower brace.

I actually think moving the blower to the pass side is going to be a MAJOR pita. Reason i say this is cause if you look the engine is actually shifted to the pass side a few inches. If you can not work in a intake tube and are ok with moving the blower why not move it up high on the drivers side? Do it kinda like this high mount blower..
