What does it take to get in the low 12's n/a all motor and streetable originally i wanted low 11's but I dont want a rollbar because i want to be able to have people in the back seat.
I was thinking
gmmg exhaust
hooker lt's
slp cai
afr heads
some type of cam(suggestions?)
1.6 rr and whole valvetrain
58mm throttle body
ported intake manifold

Save your money by not getting AFR's,they tend to be overkill for a combo like yours.

Stock ported heads,ported intake.
CC305 cam has good driveability,or even a CC306.
Longtubes
any aftermarket catback will do it
gears,and drag radials
proper tuning

You will have all the power you want and have fun.

who else then does the best porting job on heads then Ive been looking at quite a few advanced induction seems pretty good.

Is all this enough for low 12's without going into the 11's

Btw I will also be putting a moser 12 bolt 4.10 mickey thompson et streets with skinnys upfront on telstar rims.

Moderate cam, LTs and some traction should get you where u want to be w/out touching the heads.

Advanced Induction "econoport" heads, GM847 cam, Hooker LTs, 4.11s and drag radials. I'm running low 12s but with 412rwhp and trap speeds of almost 118mph I can run high 11s if I wanted to.

Oh, and I have a back seat;)

Its too bad that there is no nhra legal roll bar that will aloow you to have a back seat I really wanted low 11's High 12's all motor. And Still have it streetable.

Does anyone hear have cc306 cam and drives the car daily?

The times in my sig are with ported factory heads and a mild cam. I also have SLP shorties, 373s and 2800 converter.

Try all the bolt-ons first AND learn how to shift like a MOFO!!! Low 12's are not unobtainable w/o going into the engine. If you're willing to do some mild head work on the stock heds then you're way ahead of the game.

What's your track elevation?
I'm not trying to be a d!ck but I've ran 12.0 @ 115.5 w/ the LPE 211/219 emissions legal cam at a sea level track w/ a 3670lb race weight (me in the car). I'm just curious since I have a GM847 ready to be used.

All the bolt ons and remove the weight. Get traction and then decide how much more you need. There is no reason why a stock motor w/1.6s can't go lower 12s with traction and Race Weight of 3200 or so....
