Question about stock program and Tunercat

I read the stock prgram in my PCM. Then I went to the speed calibration table and it said that my PCM was programmed for 3.07 gears, with a 285 50 17 tire. And the Y-car option was selected not F-car.

Is this just a generic table that pops up with a stock tune? Should I change it to what my car really has?

BTW it is a 1995 Z28 A4 with 3.23 gears and 16" wheels stock. I now have 17" 10-spoke wheels on there.

thanks

You're correct in thinking that is just the generic table that pops up. It doesn't give you any indication of what you're car has at all.
What size tires do you have on those 17's?

I have 275/40/17's. Should I enter in all the correct information when I reprogram my fans?

Imagine that window as just a calculator. If you enter all your info, then click apply, you will notice the adjustment numbers change at the bottom. Those numbers are the one that the computer uses to read vehicle speed. The tire size/tranny/ etc options just allow tunercat to calculate the correctionj factors and program them into your tables with numbers which have no meaning to us.
