Cool Silly Question: Zaino on Football Helmets?

This might sound stupid, but please bear with me...

I collect authentic NFL Football Helmets by Riddell... I was wondering if it would be safe to use Zaino on them to polish them up...

The helmet shells are "Injection Molded Polycarbonate" (some sort of plastic) some are painted, some are molded in the team colors... and they have the heavy vinyl decals...

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated... I know it is a little silly though

Wink

Darth????? Are you mad???

This is not a stupid question. I have considered waxing/Zaino-ing my Die-cast model cars. I would say it should be okay, but better if you had KevinSS or an authority answer you.

Cool

heheh... Thanks for not thinking I'm whacko

I hope some people have some opinions on this idea... these suckers cost $170+ each, so I don't want to mess them up.

Perfectly fine, I put it on my die cast all the time, also have done furniture, pianos, guitars, etc. You can put it on any hard, smooth surface.

I've put it on my dark red Godin guitar and black furniture with great results as well. Perhaps the 2nd best part (besides the awesome shine) is how easy they are to maintain now. Dust just wipes right off!

So, no, you're not crazy!
