Was bored tonight so I headed out to Speedworld to see what I could do on street tires with the new long tubes. It was 90* + tonight.
My best run of the night was a 13.182 @ 110.064. The run went as follows:
60' 2.245
330 5.785
1/8 8.666
MPH 86.554
1/4 13.182
MPH 110.064
The 350 Z ran a 14.800 @ 96.244.
My previous best (with the shorties) on street tires was a 13.2 @ 108, in the winter (~60*). I was definitely happy to hit the 110 mark on street tires because I have consistently ran 2 mph faster on slicks than on street tires. My previous best 1/8 mph on street tires was 84. The car was spinning hard into 2nd and 3rd and with the slicks, 88 mph in the 1/8 should be attainable. :)
Below is the video of the 13.1 @ 110 (camera wouldn't focus very well):

As I was getting ready to leave, a guy driving a hatch approached and asked if I wanted to run. He said he wanted to run something that would be some competition. I obliged. The driver was pretty arrogant. Anways, below is the video:

I ran a 13.325 @ 109.984 to his 13.8 @ 107.
All in all, I'm very pleased with the long tubes. I Can't wait for it to cool down and make some passes on the ET Streets.
