Appearently I was using too little Z5. There must be minimum threshold for it dry effectively. I did the 2 stripes approach, on each half of the hood, per quarter panel and doors. Quite frankly it was about the same quantity that I would use with Gold Class. Started hazing up right away, but I waited 90 minutes and it came right off ... no smearing, just shine http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif

Looks good, more of a wet glass look then Gold Class, but not as dramatic as Sal's web page. I guess technically I only really have 1 coat of Z5.

So I'll stick with it to see if it continues to improve.

Thanks, for all the input from everyone.

Mike

Because using Zaino is so different from wax, it does take getting used to. Some people start out great and others it takes a couple of applications to get down the technique.

I use about one line down the applicator for about half the hood. I wet the applicator with Z-6 first.

Don't worry keep on applying and you will shine like the web page http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif
