Apperantly Cheif Chassis has the best Nitrous, charges something like 5bucks a pound..................I need to fill my bottle too and will probably go to him.

Where do the majority of guys fill their bottles here in the lower mainland?????

Thanks

well that comes to $4.00/lb canadian after exchange.... not really worth it unless you fill up multiple bottles in one trip.

So there's no sulfer doping in it? sounds illegal...

Outside of the sulfer-doping (to prevent it's use as a drug), all nitrous supplies, like any liquid-phase gas, are nearly identical.

There are only 3 manufactures of nitrous in North America: http://www.cganet.com/N2O/factsht.htm

Of those, ~90% of all nitrous is medical grade. Rarely does this mean that small amounts can be made less pure than the medical grade, it's cheaper to just make all of it the same then dope the gas when filling cylinders.

As a result, some specialized applications require additional refining, although yes, at a cost. Take a peak: http://www.bocedwards.com/process_gases/pdf/n2o_a.pdf

So yes, they may be selling medical grade nitrous... but most likely... so is everyone else. :) Even the purified stuff on 99.99996% pure.... the cheap stuff is only 3-nines pure or so. :)
