I'm new to the nos world, and I preferrably do not want my lt1 to go boom. I'm running a dry kit and was wondering what is the jetting for specific hp levels:
50, 75, 100, 125, 150*, 175*
probably will not use due to engine failure possibility :)
The kit is used no manual or nothing...
PS - I read somewhere how a guy had 80psi fp with a .052 jet, but when he went to a .059 he lowered his fp to 65psi, thats confusing; how does it work?

Here's my page on this info:

The reason why you would get less FP with a larger jet is that you're allowing more vacuum through thereby lowering the amount of fuel added by the fuel pressure regulator.

Thanks I was looking for this as well.
I did a search a couple days ago and did not find too much info.

thanks for that info
PS - what is the factory jetting for the standard 150shot?
I found an NOS manual it said 67N but I saw no F jet in the diagram or instructions.
NOS tech told me 67N/59F
Speedshop tells me 67N/42F
So whats up with it?

67/42 are the factory jets that come with the dry kit.

67/42 is 150hp on a Mustang not on the LT1 the correct jetting is 67/59. Beware of what you are told by your local speed shop. I've herd them say some wacky stuff.

PS - I bought this kit used so i'm not sure if its setup correctly.
The nitrous side is fine I think.
The fuel regulator side I have some questions about.
The setup has a fuel injection hose(3-4ft long) running from the regulator to a tee(bottom of T) where the fp jet is. A FI line(1ft long) streches from the top right of the T to the fpr.
The left side of the T has a FI line going to the intake vac port.
Is this the correct setup for NOS #5176?
My worry is that the fpr will not get good nitrous coverage to enrich the cylinders.

It sounds right just make sure the side of tee with the jet in it goes towards the manifold.

Well here is a simple breakdown of the setup
Here is my " T "
The Bottom part of it has the jet and it goes to the solenoid.
The Top Left goes to the intake.
The Top Right goes to the fuel pressure regulator.
Hence when the NOS gets sprayed it goes through the jet then it can split either way; intake or fpr. Thats just what I was wondering about. Or should it be another way?

Well I have a friend that bought his NOS 5176 kit back in the day... like '97 or '98. Myself and maybe 5 of my friends bought the same NOS 5176 kit over the next 3 years or so.
Problem is his kit had 67N/59F jets.
All of our kits had 67N/42F jets.
NOS tech (what a joke) always told us that the 67N/42F was correct and his was wrong. They said since he bought his when it was still "new" to the market they were just adding the pump kit to the Mustang 5115 kits (which also supposedly had a different shim in the Nitrous pressure regulator... blue tower thingy)
He always picked up more power and time then we did, but he also had headers and a 1LE car so we chalked it up to that...
But he also ran rich (blowing black smoke) so with the larger fuel jet that doesn't make sense. It would seem he would run leaner...
