Just got my new tires and IROC rims mounted.
I thought I'd share some of the pictures. 245/50 16 all the way around with no rubbing.

A pretty in-expensive way to put 16" on a 2nd gen and I've very happy with the final product.

Nice car Grant. Dont the iroc rims have different backspacing front and rear? Did you use just fronts? I thought I remembered needing spacers to fit the rears in nicely. Maybe that was with wider tires. Anyhow, happy to see more shiny 2nd gens out and about :) .

Pandamonkey - I have a picture somewhere of someone who put salad shooters on a 2nd gen - you do however need spacers
CoryM - I needed to do a lttle grinding on the front (http://www.camaropower.com/mycamaro_pictures/grind/), but the BS is such that the front IROC rims fit on the back and the back on the front with no problems.
I hope to make it out sometime soon to meet everyone.

Dang wish I had gotten that lucky on my 81 Cab(ElCamino).
Fronts fitt good but rears needed huge spacers. One day I will find two morw silver front wheels and all will be well ;)

Cool Grant. After thinking about it a little harder I can think of a few guys with 16" rims who ground a little off the a-arms. Anyway, good to see that the front end is all fixed up. I assume thats hugger orange paint?

The colour is actually Performance Red - which is pretty much an orangy red colour. My dad picked it out and painted it that colour when he had the car.
Now that the fronts fixed and the paint is good I need to look into fixing the back. It's ok - but there are some pretty major flaws (paint runs on the back bumper).
Since the car is a daily driver and I feel enjoying a car is more important than it being show car quality - it's not my top priority. Finishing the suspension is first off.

Where'd you get the SFC's installed? I'll be needing a set very soon, being that my new engine will be in the car today.

Hi Erik - I had them installed in a shop in Ontario - so can't be much help there. Next is a rear shock relocation bar I need welded in. I'm going to give T&S suspension a call - I've had good luck there in the past. You might want to try them out.
With a sweet engine like you're putting in I wouldn't dare step on it without SFC's!!!
mrak - I bought the wheels from a member of the nw-fbody list months ago for a really good price ($250 US). I'd suggest keeping a look out, there are good deals to be had if your patient.
