Any lt1 cam installers near Albany NY, or not too far away?

I've hit both FAQs...

And I'm really friggin nervous about doing it myself. I've never done anything that major before (A few header swaps, an opti install and that's the best I've done), so I'm thinking if either someone knows what to do and can give me a hand, or someone install it for me. I have springs, rockers, and cam so far - no new lifters and pushrods yet - and I'm going to need to get the ECU reprogrammed. I dont know how long it takes to do that work on an lt1, so if someone can chime in, that'd be great. Otherwise, I'm sending it off, and how much should I expect to pay at a shop? Any other tips? Is this really not as bad as it sounds? Chime in for me!

(moderators, thanks for the space)
I post in NewE and Northeast because lord knows who's where...

Depending on how far albany is from the north shore of MA and how my health is I might be able to help. It's really not as bad as it sound, just give yourself plenty of time and don't rush it. I'd usually recommend starting on a saturday so if you don't get it finished in one day you still have sunday to wrap things up. it normally takes an amatuer with help about 8-12 hours, depending on what kind of snags you run into and how many times you have to run to the parts store:) But if you're not more than 2 hours away and my health is in good shape I would be able to give you a hand.

Hmmmm, looks like you're about 3 hours away so I don't know if I'd be able to help. Unless you decide you want to pay a little for my help?:)
