squealing brakesjoed4640 05-16-2003, 04:50 PM just had a front brake job last week and there still making noise, ive sprayed lots of brake cleaner on hoping it will settle down w/o removing the wheel and brake assembly... it has gotten better but i dont think it will go away any suggestions? smurfman 05-16-2003, 08:32 PM Hey man, I have the same problem. I have the Reybesta brake pads, and they only seems to squeal when I apply the brake at 20 MPH or lower. Just replaced the pads in my sister's car...hers made some noise for the first day or two.
