Ls1 Conversion??? How???

How much would a v6 bird to convert to an LS1 cost to have it installed?:confused:

I bought the v6 cause I just wanted a fast looking car and wasn't looking for a specific. Now that I know that there are way faster cars than mine, what would be the cost to get this done. I have considered engine mods, but friends have told me that a v8 is the way to go.

I know this is probably not what you want to hear, but all things considered, it would probably be cheaper to sell your car and get a V8. Don't forget that the V8 models come with a whole lot of other parts not just the motor. An LS1 alone will cost you nearly 5 grand. Then Transmission Upgrade, installation, suspension, etc. etc. Try to see about selling your V6 and maybe looking at a used V8 if your strapped for cash.
