Resurface flywheel?

I am replacing my clutch in my car. It is a 98 ss with the m6. Do I need a new flywheel or will resurfacing be alright. It has 56000 miles on it...............any opinions let me know

jusr resurface it.....it will only cost 30 bucks

I agree, resurface it if it's not all torn up.
I would also find out how much the machine shop takes off of it and shim the slave the same amount to keep the factory stack up. This will insure that it will work the same as stock after the rebuild.

Buy a new one, they are not that expensive for a stock replacement.
