Break-in period for clutch?

I finally had my McLeod single-disk clutch installed. I love it so far; it grabs hard, has a smooth engagement, and no chatter. My question is, how many miles do I have to go to break it in? Should I shift at lower RPM's until it's broken in? Thanks!

I'd baby it for about 50 miles, lay off the holeshots/powershifts for about 100.

YIKES!!!!!

Unless Mcloed has a different break in then every other clutch on the market, its 400 miles of stop and go traffic with NO racing, or clutch abuse of any kind. You have to allow the clutch to seat to the flywheel, and that takes lots of low rpm shifting. No long road trips either....city traffic conditions only! Until I decided to go with the TH400, I burned up 3 clutches in two years. Two of them had less then 200 miles break in.

Please break in your clutch correctly, or you will be replacing it very soon.
