Do our cars need 4-wheel alignments?alex94z 05-15-2003, 12:41 AM Installed new springs and shocks and need an alignment. Do i need a 4-wheel, or is a 2-wheel alignment good enough? LPEdave 05-15-2003, 01:16 AM 2-wheel. You can't align the rear (solid axle) without HUGE effort, and it isn't affected by lowering. Some dumb@ss dealer service rep tried to tell me i needed a 4-wheel alignment even with a solid rear axle. V6Bob 05-15-2003, 10:39 AM It is a good idea to (at least one time), have the rear measured to see that nothing is wrong. But there are no adjustments. BPS 05-15-2003, 10:58 AM After i lowered it and installed ALCA's and lowering LCA brackets I had the rear centered, at the same time I had my front alignment done. Rears can be out of alignment in the sense that the axel is not perpendicular to the car so your running a bit dogged. | ||
