Need Stock underbody pics of your Exhaust system

hey, i noticed that my y pipe seems to scrape a lot on bumps, so i took a look at it and the driver side sits 2 inches lower than the pipe on the pass. side, not to mention that it sticks out of the whole underbody, so i was wondering if this is normal. And if you can provide pics of your stock y pipe, that would be great.

Thanks

Your description of your exhaust sounds just like mine. Always thought that was how it's supposed to be - that's how it's been since new. Can't wait to get my hands on a Loudmouth cat back.

Is the pipe on the drivers side round? or flattened? If it's round then it's an aftermarket y-pipe and will hang lower than stock.

The camaro underbodies were not designed for the type of exhaust you are talking about. All of them hang quite low on the drivers side. My SLP exhaust the pipe is smashed down quite a bit for added clearance. I have it lowered 1.5" and so far haven't hit it on anything.

If you notice the big bump on the passenger side floor is for the old type converter used on the car when the underbody was first released. GM never sold enough of the cars to justify a new underbody for dual cat, Y-pipe type exhaust. Would be nice if there was some room down there for pipes.
