This is Jessi, Chris' daughter. Just wanted to post to tell you that Daddie is in the hospital right now after he collapsed yesterday. :( He had to be rushed in. He wanted me to apologize to the people he is holding up with car parts but he will be out of it for a bit. He also wanted me to tell you he is at Macomb Hospital in room 712, bed 2.

If you call the hospital, they should be able to tell you when are the regular visiting hours, as well as if he is allowed to have visitors or not. Sometimes the hospital says no visitors, and sometimes the family asks that only other family members be allowed to visit.
Redbird 05-13-2003, 06:07 PM No update from me, but... I can tell you Chris is a very sick man.
Some they know what it is and some of the illness they don't.
He has been to U of M Hospital a few times and they have no idea. Now this info was from last summer when I went to Chris's house and we talked.
I really don't think Chris thinks he has very long to live. According to him a wild youth is probably the cause??!! He told me some stories of car crashes that made my car crashin' days pale in comparison to! HE got hurt, badly, all the time... I never did dispite two car totals while street racing!
Keep up the prayers and we'll see if we can get him back! :)

Chris Ja 05-21-2003, 02:09 AM Did any of you guys come by the hospital? Two guys stuck there head in the room and said no he is not there. I was out of it from the meds but thought it was someone from the board. I looked real bad at the time. I lost about 20LB from them pumping all the excess fluids out of me for 5 days straight. I was not allowed to eat or drink anything. They took about 5 gallons of fluid out of me. I can beleive how much thinner I look. Glad to to home and able to set up for a while now.:)
