I used a couple coats of mguires cleaner wax after the winter months and have followed up by putting a few coats of mothers pure carnuba wax
my question is:
if i put multiple coats of mothers pure carnuba wax will it build up to a brilliant shine or is it just replacing the coat already on there like the cleaner wax does?

If your using just Mother's carnauba it will layer to a point, not like some of the synthetics but more coats will add depth to a point.

2-4 coats will be enough, and I say that because you will not be adding protection, just depth of shine, carnauba is not very durable. :)

Carnubba is the hardest of the natural waxes. It is not the hardest shell of a wax on the market by far. I still like it. I wax my car enough to not have to worry about it not lasting 6 months.

i wax any where from 2-4 times a month, i figure with all the weather we get up here i probably need alot of wax to stay shinny and protected

If you wax that often you really dont need to worry about your carnubba not holding up. That is untill the winter months role around. I like to use a good synthetic product such as mothers Reflections, Just for insurance under the wax at least a few times a year.
