My car is only a 18 months old, and yesterday, the clutch pedal started making a clicking noise. When I am pushing the clutch pedal in, after I get about half-way, it makes a clicking noise. This has never happened before and it now happens everytime I press it.
Is this bad? Did something break?
Is it easy to fix? Should I take it to a dealer?

Is it a clicking or a buzzing noise? Does it go away when you put it in gear? If its just a little clicking, its probably the throwout bearing making some noise, they tend to be noisey especially after a clutch change or replacement.

It is a single loud click when I push down on the clutch (it occurs once I hit the halfway point) and then a quieter click when I let it up. If I only push the clutch in halfway when I shift, then I can avoid the noise.
I made an appointment with the dealer for next week, I just want to make sure that it is safe to drive this way.

I would have to hear it. It could be just the engagement and disengagement of the clutch. But you are making the right call to get it checked out.

i htink your problem is jsut that the pivot for the clutch arm needs to be lubed. i had this problem before, and a little grease took care of it really nice. it isnt a mechanical problem, jsut a sound. can you feel it with your foot when it makes the noise? just push the pedal down real slowly and let me no if you can feel it.

i am not going to give a specific date fo when they will be available. i just dont want to let anyone down. but they should be available shortly. we are just trying to get all the parts together so we can see what the total cost of a coplete kit will be. and we ar trying to get these kits to work on stock motored cars with no other mods besides the turbo. we are trying to make sure that the kit will not ruin a customers engine a couple months down the road, which takes some time. but definitely look for us to start selling product soon.
