Best way to clean carpet...?Firstgenboy 05-11-2003, 05:03 PM SHould i have it professionally cleaned or should i buy something from a store to use, i have tan cloth interior and it get pretty dirty on the floormatts and some other spots from my work any ideas? Darth Xed 05-12-2003, 09:10 AM You can rent one of those carpet cleaners from hardware stores, rental stores, or even some grocery stores... Ask for the small attachment though, the standard one is too bag, and it's hard to work with... 99 31U VERT 05-12-2003, 09:30 AM If the carpet isn't too heavily soiled, this works well. I used this method on the blue carpet in my wife's Blazer yesterday, and it removed a winter's worth of muck and spilled juice and other rug rat accumulations. Vac the carpet extremely well, removing all loose soils. Take an empty spray bottle and mix 1 part Simple Green or purple cleaner to 8 parts water. Lightly mist carpet with spray. Lightly brush surface with interior brush. Wipe carpet surface with a clean towel. Vac again. | ||
