anyone leave their bottle open 24/7??

just wonderin, cuz i know the noids are normally closed so it should hold back the pressure fine. Just wondering if the noids are built so that they can hold the pressure 24/7, would eliminate the need for a remote bottle opener. BUt i guess they are not designed to do that????

the seals and solenoids are not designed to hold up to that kind of constant pressure.
you run a risk of damaging the 'noids if you leave the bottle open that much.

You're also proably going to lose some of your nitrous.

You will loose Nitrous by leaving the bottle open. I think I left mine open for over a five day period and lost all ten pounds of the go fast juice. I did take a rip down to texas one time and left the bottle on the hole time(12 hour trip), just in case I got into a race along the way. :D

i shut mine off after every run while i'm cooling down. you will lose n20 if you leave it open all the time

How gay so you have to buy some 200 dollar bottle opener unless you pull over turn it on use it and pull over and turn it off... didnt know that...

I use to have my bottle open all the time and notice I did loose pressure from time as pass being open over night. It's not that hard after parking your car for the day just close the valve, then when you hit the road open it up.

There's a good reason why remote bottle openers were invented. Those reasons have been stated.

If you don't want to spend the money, you could always mount it on the driveline hump between the two rear seats. Then just reach your arm back and open the bottle.
