Separate fuel system ?'s...need help

I just got my NX S.H.O. (100-400hp single fogger) kit for my Z and I now need to do the fuel system before I can spray the car. I will be running up to a 300hp single stage out of this fogger and need to have a fuel system to support it. I want to run a 1 gallon fuel cell for fuel enrichment while on the bottle. I am going to get a feul cell kit from summit but I have a question about the fuel pump I should run with this setup. I want to run 45 psi from my fuel cell so I need a pump to support about 300 hp @ 45psi. What kind of fuel pump should I use? make , model, price? Also, what type of regulator should I run? Is it OK to run race fuel c16 in the cell and pump gas through the injectors? Lastly, what size fuel lines should I run? The lines that came with the kit are -4an fuel lines. Any other tips or suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

Wht do you want to run such a high pressure? If it were me I would just get a Blue pump and run it at low pressure. Easier to tune that way.

ditto what he said. unless you are running boost also(i assume not) you are better off at carb pressure levels. get a holley blue, set it at 8psi and go to town!

Thanks for the info...the reason I wanted to run 45 psi is because that is what the jet card told me the system was calibrated for. If I can get away with running a lower fuel pressure with the Holley blue than I would go that route. What type of regulator should I run with the holley blue? Will I have any fuel atomization problems being that the fogger was made for higher pressures? Should I call NX and tell them my fuel system 8psi and have them send me some jets for that fuel pressure?
Thanks for any more info

The regulator that comes with the blue pump will be fine. the nitrous atomizes the fuel not the fuel pressure. If it is an NX kit then they should be able to give an idea of what jets to run at that pressure. This is direct port right? If it is a single nozzle then you would want high pressure.

Thanks for the reply! BTW it is a single fogger setup that I am running.

I called NX today and they told me to run 8-10psi through a holley blue pump on my kit and it would work fine. They said to run the fuel line from the cell to a fuel pump to a regulator to the fule solenoid and to NOT use a return line to the cell. They told me it was not needed (is that correct?) Will the regulator that comes with the Holley blue pump be good enough or should I upgrade it? What size lnes should I run to the solenoid? and finally, where should I put the fuel filters?
Thanks for any more info

Hey Jordon,

A friend of mine was telling me that you had a couple of pics of your supplemental fuel cell mounted in front of the radiator on your webpage. I looked the other day and couldn't find them. Do you still have them on your page? If so, where? If not, could you put them back up briefly or email them to me? I am not sure I want to relocate my battery just yet, and was wanting to see how you had mounted your cell.

Thanks,

Dave

If the 12-803 regulator that comes with the blue pump is good enough for a 500hp fogger on a 7 sec. car it will be more than fine for your set up. It is a very good regulator.

The fuel line coming out of a Holley Blue or equivalent is 6an to the regulator and 6an to the distribution block correct?

Thanks,

6AN is what I would use. If you wanted to you could run 8AN to the pump and it would flow more but you shouldn't have to.
