B&M Shift kit for V6!MysticMaro98 05-09-2003, 11:20 AM Wow is this thing unreal! Just got my new one put in. Makes that T56 tranny really come to life. And the kit was only 65 bucks! Of course the install was an arm and a leg. When you really get on it this thing kicks like an LS1. Gonne need new tires though :D A T56 is a manual 6 speed transmission commonly used on LT1 and LS1 Camaros. You cant put a shift kit on those. Automatics, like you have apparently because of the shift kit, are called a 4l60e. Also, dont see how a 3.8 with exhaust, a filter, and a shift kit comes even near to LS1 power. Its impossible with those mods....... dang dood, just rain on his parade. i understood where he was coming from. so he got his trannys all twisted up, no reason to..... i dont know what a LS1 feels like, but i do know that when i rode in a V6 that had the shift kit i was thoroughly focking impressed. if LS1s feel better than that-----man, i cant wait! I thought thats what the guy at autozone told me my tranny modle was. My fault guys! And I never said I can hold a stick to an LS1. Just said it made it FEEL like one.
