How much does N2O cost per pound at a speed shop? COMNBYU 05-08-2003, 03:07 PM Some people will prolly tell you that you'll get a whole bunch of runs on a 10lb bottle, but I've never got, nor heard of anyone else locally, getting what people on this board get per bottle. When I had my 100 pills in I could usually get 6-7 FULL 1/4 runs per bottle. Now that I have the 150s, it's normally around 5. As far as price, most shops charge anywhere from 5 bucks on up per lb. I have a friend who has his own filling station and hooks up people he knows and friends. Technically, he charges 3 dollars a pound, but he usually just takes 30 bucks even if he goes over, which he normally does. He'll stuff about 27-28 lbs in:cool: Jon z2894convertible 05-08-2003, 10:17 PM Originally posted by COMNBYU He'll stuff about 27-28 lbs in:cool: Jon How can he get that in a 10 pound bottle? stik6shift98 05-09-2003, 10:06 AM about ten runs..... 5 dollars and up per pound:eek: around here its 2.75 to 4.50 MAX COMNBYU 05-09-2003, 11:03 AM Originally posted by z2894convertible How can he get that in a 10 pound bottle? It's a 10 lb bottle, and then it holds another 15 lbs of N2O. A total of 25 lbs:) When you get your bottle filled, they weigh the total lbs. I didn't mean 26-28 lbs of N2O, sorry... Jon Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that "10 pound bottle" meant it held 10 pounds or n20. SB Well, all I know is that when I have my bottle filled and weighed, it normally reads 15-17lbs BEFORE it's filled, and 26-28 after. Maybe it's the bottle that weighs 15lbs?? Anyhoo, that's how it works for me... Jon PNYKILR 05-11-2003, 05:41 PM Your bottle should have the weight on it when full and empty. empty I think is 15lbs. So add 10 more pounds to that and you get 25lbs total. I think that's what he meant to say. | ||
