naming your car

I was just wondering if any of you have named your cars (however we all know its more like children then cars) and obviously if so what did you name it

Christine. You ever seen that horror movie with the killer possesed car. Well about 3 months ago mine was running in park. THe B&M shift cable burnt in half onm the exhaust pipe, fell back into reverse when I was trying to get back in the car. The open dorr knocked me down drug me across the road then ran me over. Then when done with me it went into my neighboors fence and luckaly stopped. Hence its named Christine.

Yea, the name for my car is "The Money Pit"...;)

My wife calls mine the Black B--ch. I guess cause she says she gets less attention than the Z.

The "Patriot Missile" cause I got it during the Gulf War when the US was using Patriot Missiles to shoot down Scud Missiles . Plus I'm a huge New England Patriot fan too !

i love the horror story one. I get my car on wednesday/thursday and maybe itll do something to me thatll earn it a name. Hopefully not something quite as extreme as getting run over by it tho :)

LOL Glad you liked it I didnt care for it that much. I think I got pics of the large spot on my foot that was void of skin where it dragged me down the road, and ripped my shoe off. It happened two months ago and I still have a cut on my shin where the tire went over it. :eek: But oh well at least I entertained someone. :D

Suzanne is named after a schizophrenic character in a Stephen King novel....basically because she'll be running like a raped ape one day and the next morning will spit and sputter and raise all kinds of hell. Two days later she'll be running great again.....


.....which is why I bought a truck to drive to work. I got sick of arguing with her every morning. Now I just drive her on the weekends.

Wow that sounds familiar. Save I ont get to drive mine on the weekends yet. I cant afford insurance on two cars.

I call my car Diba. (Damn It, Broken Again?)

names range from, B****, hoe, pile of S***, hunk of junk, etc. On many days. On good days I simply acknowledge it as being a car.

sometimes I call mine "the bucket", as in bucket of s***.

Quote "Lets go for a ride in the bucket."

My cars are named after the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse

'89 Cavalier z24 (white): Pestilence
'89 Camaro IROC-Z (black): Death

when I get the Beretta z26, it will be Famine, and the Corvette z06 will be war.

My RS is named Betty after Betty Page. I always thought of cars as being wemen. they even act like em! ;)
My wife likes to call her "That piece of sh*%" she is always telling me "You spend more time working on and playing with that piece of sh*% than you spend with me"

My IROCZ is an 88' 388 TPI stroker It's name is "Scratch," cuz if you're not use to it, it'll get scratch in every gear on both tires!

i pretty much just refer to her as "the iroc"

My cars name is Guido.

Me and my buddy's always make it a point to pick out funny names. My friends 01 Z28 is named Benard, and my brothers 95 Z28 is named Harvey.

I've called mine about 100 different names since I tore it apart. I won't mention any of those on this board since I know it's rated PG13.
But it had a name (Rachel) before it came apart, I guess when it's together I'll call it that again. Named it after a girl I went out with in HS, she was the most expensive GF I've ever had so I found it fitting to name my car the same :D
