claybar salad shooters?

hey guys, i was wondering if i can claybar my stock aluminum salad shooter rims, they clean up nicely but i still see some small stains from brake dust i think, anyways can i clay bar them to get this out? or how can i clean them the best?

I tried it with the Zaino claybar, and yes, it works very well. Though soapy water and a scrub brush works too (to a point)

Yes, it works. I too used the Zaino bar and it cut through a bunch of build-up. However, it takes a lot of time and arm-power. :)

Problem you may have is the grit gets imbedded in the pores of the metal. Try a toothbrush and a mild cleaner like Simple Green or Meg's Extra (what I use) and see if that helps.
