Headlight covers ca melt lamps?WhoBetter? 05-02-2003, 06:14 PM I just got my rk sport/ GTS headlight covers on the car, i've heard that they can cause melting of the lamps? Is this true, what should i do to prevent this?, drill some holes? I'm almost done with the appearence of my car, i'll put up some nice pictures in a few days. Only time my tail light blackouts come off is when i wash the car. I had the headlight blackouts on the car for about a year with no problems also WhiskeyJack 05-02-2003, 07:48 PM Melting headlights/taillights sux. I just put in a sequential taillight kit on last Saturday, and by Tuesday night I had dimples on both of my rear taillight assemblies.
