Panels on or off the car for painting?

Just how much blending do you need to do. I'm just trying to save myself some labor cost by taking my panels on and off myself.

I fixed the tear in the fender and bumper cover with bumper "glue". All I need to do is fill in the cracks where it tore. Mind you that nothing major or minor for that fact is missing. I just need to fill in the cracks and prep. I need some ideas and instructions. Will primer pretty much fill in the cracks or will I need some minor filler applied?

Thank you for your support

Fill in small cracks and holes by putting liquid superglue on it and sanding with 320 grit sandpaper. When sanded, it'll make a really good compound. ;) Once all those little cracks or whatever are filled, you can prime, but yeah...you definitely want to fill in everything before you prime. Take those fenders OFF the car to paint them up. Then back on to blend. :) Hope this helps.
