Right now i am about 5 days away from owning my very first car.....heres the stats on it. 1990 Camaro...silver hard top 350 automatic, shift kit, 3.73 gears, B&M shifter, headers, ported and polished heads, the thing has 86 thousand kilometers and is never winter driven the car is mint it doesnt have a spec of rust on it. The thing has a cd deck in the car, the fan has been switched to an electric motor and the back hatch has power locks, oh and the car has power everything. The thing is so damn fast and im so excited this is the greatest thing thats ever happened. I still have to wait until the 26th to get my license but as soon as i get the car as a first step im going to go to all polyurethane bushings and see how that tightens up the car. I have a limited budget right now but plan to spend a lot of money over time. Anybody got any cool ideas for stuff to do to it

Always a pleasure to see someone join the real team, F-bodies, or more importantly GM. The number of people driving stangs out there that crack them up to be super cars, far out weighs the number of people who actually have high powered Mustangs.

yeah this car is super fast but its going to be my baby no one and i mean no one is going to lay a hand on it. lol speaking of mustangs the guy whos selling it to me (btw this is his baby hes only selling it because he has no room for it) told me that if i pull up to the light against a mustang and hes all hopped up ready to go dont bother pos mustangs are just a waste of gas.

oh and just out of curiosity how hard is it to find turbos/superchargers for these cars?

oh im fully aware of that and im going to do a lot more then just headers an exhaust. The goal is to get the car to 400 hp and then run a 25 pound boost through a turbo just not sure how easy they are to find. And yeah i plan on spending like 20 grand on this car unfortunatly i dont have that kind of coin but its going to be an ongoing project. Piece by piece....pay chech by pay check

ok heres the plan for the car....i want it to be fast but i dont really want a pure drag race car and its pretty fast already (high 13's from what previous owner did to it)....First am buying a top end suspension package with dual springs etc thatll run me a pretty good amount of coin. Then shes getting 17" mag wheels with low pros...the biggest disc's that i can fit onto the car to bring it to a stop in a hurry...then do the entire engine, cams, crank, firing system, exhaust, bigger rad, etc.....turbo(s) (one or two havent devided yet =) ) AND THEN do the interior up nice....figure all of that will take me a long time to save up the funds but when shes done she will have the most amazing race package at the wheels and be putting out over 700 ponies. Oh yeah the first thing the cars getting is a complete set of polyuerthane bushings and possibly some chassis braces. the braces will come eventually just not sure where itll be placed in order of modifications.

ya, go 3" exhaust, anything smaller would be a waste of your money
