Im looking at the offerings comming down the pipeline and 2 things have een comming to mind every time I see them..
1) they are over priced..and or they are just not styled nicley..

The SSR..in my mind to old now and out of the "new" catagory as far as a freash car..its been seen to many times.

the Silverado SS..not any SS I think any TRUE Performance person would get..it is a nice truck..but nothing that screams SS to me..

The GTO..VERY AWSOME CAR! but where is the GTO style? its just bland...

bland bloated and pricey is performance from GM?? that sucks..
The concepts they have are great. But nothing is getting done..why?? no nomad? 5th gen? or any performance car??

we get this stuff?? hmmm..just makes me wince hearing about other cool cars comming out....the SSR can get smoked by a regular Maxima..:o :(
The Cavy..it took the styling of the camaro and now has the 10 spoke wheels and looks of a 4th gen..man talking about robbing the style bin....
sad..just wanted to say..Nissan is making more performance cars than GM..just sad..thats all I have to say..

while most here could car less about the car Im about to mention it is the best bang for the buck GM will have for 2004.

The new 2004 superrcharged Saturn ION Quad-coupe with 200HP+ should sell for around $19,995. While its no Camaro it does over a good value and with its rear suicide doors it even makes it practicle. The Quad-coupe also has dent resistant polymer panels like the Camaro so it wont dent. So in some ways I think of the Supercharge QuadCoupe as what a Camaro would have been like if GM decided to make the Camaro a supercharged 4-banger with FWD.

I guess ones nightmare is anothers dreamcar:D

Thankfully Saturn lets you choose what rear wing you want out of a selection of around 6 different wings (or no wing if you prefer).

I agree about the SS/R being in limbo for too long already. We've seen it from every possible angle, in every color, we know the specs, etc. It's like yesterday's news already.

I disagree about the GTO. "Where is the GTO style?" Well, take ANY current model that was around in those days, and you could say the same thing.. "where's the style?" They all evolved, and so has the GTO. It'll take a little getting used to but it'll make more sense as the next-gen comes out down the road.

After all the "wait till lutz gets all the great products out" buzz, I can honestly say that there are only two cars I've seen in the pipeline that raise my pulse in the least bit - the GTO, which is overweight and out of my reach, and the C6, which will be out of my reach.
