Im under the impression that all the Caddys will have a v car along with their base model. When the STS goes onto Sigma and gets is new skin in ... 2005ish? how are they going to follow up a 400 hp CTSv? The STS should be a nicer car than the CTS, and Id assume that would make its v series nicer, also. Could this be Caddys $70k sedan?

A wild guess says that the STSv will get the blown Northstar, like the XLR was supposed to get. I'm guessing that would compete quite nicely with the rest of the $70K, 400 HP sedan crowd.

Well, if you think of the CTS-V as an M3 competitor, and it should dust an M3, you gotta figure a future STS-V as an M5 competitor... so I'd expect the same results!

Next M5 going V-10---maybe 500hp...I hope an STS-V gets the Caddy V12;)

Sounds like a pretty good place for that Cadillac V12, doesn't it? (Assuming it fits!)

I heard the STS IS getting the V12. Let's all hope.

Cadillac SixteenV? Hahaha 2000 hp.
CienV? 0-60 in 2.0 seconds.
Just kidding :)
The V12 would be insane in the STS.

Boy, I'd like to see where they're going to fit a V12 in that package, based on looking at a CTS for a few minutes. But, hey, if they can, that'll certainly help Cadillac regain its droolworthy status (the CTSv being a great first step)
THe two rumors I have heard for the STSv are twin turbo northstar and V12.

The Northstar XV12 is the same length as GM's Vortec 8100 V8, and it has the approximate width and height as the Northstar 4.6-liter and Vortec 6000 V8s
