djk19 04-27-2003, 12:18 PM I live in boston MA. (dedham to be exact) and I don't know many guys that are into their cars. I mostly have friends with mustangs and they aren't even good at modding them... I am just looking for some friendly faces;)
ALSO. I am in need of a good source for a shop. I need to get my
LCA relocators installed as well as my
Magnaflow exhuast
MAC torque arm and soon
headers and HUGE wilwood calipers which I have no idea how to mount. They don't come with any instructions and aren't evne made to be on a street car (GT-6000)
Later guys!
:D
grygst76 04-27-2003, 01:22 PM Most of the time especially in the area if you want to get a better appreciation for your car you enlist help of some buddies and do it yourself!! I finnally found an aprtment in Gloucester and will be moving this week and I am one that doesn't mind helping fellow members if they have the time, tools, and a garage (12 pack of beer helps too) and I am there. Don't ask me about the electronics but anything to do with the rest of the car i.e engine, body, suspension, brakes, I can tackle since I have been doing it since I was 13 and am 31 now. Good luck with your car and ask people around here there is a lot of us North Shore guys that could give your project a kick in the a$$!!

My84Z 04-29-2003, 08:50 PM email slowhawk he is a good guy and would be better than doing it with poeple who have never doen it before.

BlackZin01 04-30-2003, 12:54 AM waaaah I'm still in school for a month.....who's waiting till May 24th?
I'm sure there are enough people with enough parts to have a couple of em over the summer. If we have to we can pick up a few things to install... if we haaaave to. ;)
djk19 04-30-2003, 12:55 AM I'm interested man! :) I'll come hang out for the day and supply "supplies" I'm just a college age kid with a camaro and have no friends with knowledge of this stuff etc. Allways lookin to hang out and talk cars and get some work done. Let me know. My life is so busy I would understand your time is valuable. any time is cool.:metal:
djk19 04-30-2003, 12:59 AM and now that it is a suspension party I have some LCA relocation brackets (spohn weld in) that I need installed if you know anyhting about that. I was going to go to the shop for that but if I don't have to then I won't :D
:metal:
grygst76 04-30-2003, 09:25 AM Now I do have a welder!! I use it when I really need to since I hate the damn thing(I burn myself) I think a lot of people don't mind helping out to a degree but remember most of it is showing so it can be done yourself:o
definitely would be a trip to see 7-10 f-bodies in one spot doing some shizznit.
95TA8280 04-30-2003, 12:02 PM May 23rd? ;)
djk19 04-30-2003, 03:31 PM no may 23rd for me :( it would have to be saturday or sunday...

BlackZin01 04-30-2003, 04:26 PM That sounds good. There's a track day at NHIS on the 22nd that I'm going to, so if I have to replace anything, that'll be the perfect time!
NeedforSpd_Z 04-30-2003, 04:38 PM 24th might be good for me! :) All we need is someone to host! Hmm who could that be..:p
95TA8280 04-30-2003, 05:03 PM So the 24th? :)
djk19 04-30-2003, 08:55 PM The 24th works for me :)

Hey Man,
Where in Cambridge do you live? I work in Cambridge, at 60 Oxford Street precisely. I park the Z06 in a garage on Everett Street.
Nice to see a local Boston/Cambridge peep. Why does everyone say Boston, but nobody actually lives IN Boston?
