kevkop94TA 07-15-2002, 07:05 PM I remember hearing a lot of stuff, just wondering if anything is going yet? George has been mysteriously quiet, just curious as to whats up with everyone? What are your guys goals as well?

Ed95Pont 07-15-2002, 08:19 PM My moter is done. The car is not anywhere near done.It is all a cash thing. It will probabbly go in my 95.I am having fun with the stock headed moter in it now and want to work on a 11.5-11.7 slip with it in.Then I will throw a front hoop in it. And see if my new 396 can tear up my 6 speed.
I would like to haul it to thunder racings gig and run it in the m6 class. With just a small shot.
The car that we are building for this moter to run in xtreeme street will be built over the fall and winter.

No spray on the stock head/stock bottem end Motor. But I have been working on the suspension to work on the short time.My 12.07 runs were spinning through first.I have since bought new slicks ,new subframes antiroll bar, halls.I went to the track and snapped a hiem on my tourque arm.So It has been down for a few weeks. Most of those parts were for another car we are building.
I have a 396 lt1 with pro action 235's with a fogger sitting here just dying to be fired up
Dave
I was wondering when someone would pick up on the fact that I cant spell let alone type.
Good luck on the liscene runs this weekend.

Wicked 07-17-2002, 12:07 PM I hope to have my car running again by August 15th. I have the same goals as StrokedTA. I wont be able to run mine legally at the track till next fall. Mine is money and time holding me back =). Keep in mind my car went from completly stock all the way to the air box to what you see in the sig in about 2 months. So I've spent my cash flow up pretty quick. http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif I'll see 9's this year for sure. I'm hoping for 10's on motor.

Have a few parts to buy and getting them on the car. Lots of stuffis done. Its the little stuff that seems to be holding me up the most right now.
I hope to have the car legal and tuned to race at the Thunder Racing event.

Edit: My goal is 9.80 on around 17psi of boost. Anything faster than that would make me smile more.

mongse_1 07-18-2002, 07:41 PM Hey Dave, where are you making your class runs at?
redflyr396 07-18-2002, 09:28 PM New MADMAN torque arm for me, K-member, and rack . Changing gear also and will attempt spraying 250. Less weight and 100 HP more spray should be fun. No predictions, that never works just hope improve on 9.70 139. The car has gone on a diet also. 3420 with me in it before removal of bumpers and factory front end and brakes. Will try and make MMRA but will be at The Thunder shootout for sure.

you're on crack....
i hope you plan to put a much larger tire on for 17psi with that turbo....otherwise you'll just be another john forcer down the track LOL
strokedTA 07-19-2002, 05:09 PM CrazyJoe,
I'm not going to "That" track! http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
I'm going tomorrow to the 1/8mile, here near me. CCD (Coles County Dragway), in Charleston.
Just got my pants and gloves today. http://web.camaross.com/bb/wink.gif
I'll start with the "small" shot [200].
Just found out I had my pinion angle way off!
Imagine, I pulled 1.3's with it like that
also. Wonder if this will make it better or worse?
Later,
Dave

mongse_1 07-19-2002, 10:56 PM Man 1.3s on a crooked suspension ain't too shabby.
I didn't think you'd come back and run at the local dump. Of course, now that you've got big tires and a carb, they should let you run whenever you want. It's us slow "kids" in their late-model fuel injected cars w/ our little 26" slick that have to wait two hours for a run. [/sarcasm]
http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif
Good luck man! Hoping to make it up in your area sometime next year.
