The SSR pace...er...car, remains surprisingly stock, considering previuos reports of it's sluggish performance.

This from Chevrolet: "Inclusion of heavy-duty engine and transmission oil coolers, higher rate springs and shocks, and a lower restriction exhaust system provide further assurance of optimum performance in the harsh environment of professional racing"

Hey for the same price, I'd much rather have the more unique and similar performing SSR than the Silverado SS!

Is it still going to be a 2003???? The 2003 SSR should be a short model year. Chevy has been saying that this truck would get a manual and a possible power upgrade in the following years. lets hope that the 2004 gets the Silverado SS 345HP 6.0L and a 6 speed manual.

Chevy has it listed as "the all new 2003 SSR".

That they are going to be same price really puts into perspective how overprice the Silverado SS dress-up package really is! :irk:
