First round of re-construction is starting tomorrow ...

I purchased a new door today and want to mount it asap.. i cant stand to look at my car like this any longer ..

im going to need 1 or 2 guys to help me mount the door and align the hinges... i will also be changing my A arm but dont really require any help .. though i always appritiate good company

also my glass might be changed tomorrow .. and if jason comes up with a dash for me then that part of the project will also begin

ellis, i got ur LS1 spare tire .. let me know when and where u wanna meet up.. im up for a cruise. (or if u have come up with other methods of delivery ;) )

Why not just get one of those rolling chassis' that are on the board about once a month and swap all your products over. Might be cheaper and easier.

Steve, rolling chasis is out of the question .. i dont have the garage space / tools / time / money to buy one , store it, and swap everything over ... besides, the damage on my own car ISNT THAT BAD ... (hopefully i wont find any more damage as i go along)

Houman / JD: u both have my cell # .. give me a call when ur free and let me know ... i'd like to get it done sometime during the day ... this will involve: disecting both doors, ripping out the wires from the new one and the old one, re routing the wires from old to new, mounting hinges and door, and aligning the hinges

hopefully andy will come by with the A arm so i can get the car rolling on the ground at least

Yeah hes right , the damage isnt that bad . The only really ****ty ( expencive ) part will be the sectioning of the quarter panel ( ouch ) . Is the new door black ?? If not have the inners sprayed before you mount it up , this will save you lots of hassle later . If you drop the shell off at my work I can squirt it for you . Just let me know .
