has anyone got their slp y pipe installed and their exhaust rattles?zo6vette 04-19-2003, 02:02 PM i got my slp y pipe installed today after lunch time i went out for a ride and the exhaust was rattling bad..i check everything, nothing sems to be touching or rubbing..has anyone got their slp y pipe installed and their exhaust rattles? what could it be? lastZ 04-19-2003, 08:26 PM i have an slp Y pipe......the only thing i had to do is modify the cross member it sits on......i put a couple washers to lower the cross member so the y pipe doesent hit it.........that could be your problem tainted 04-19-2003, 08:27 PM ACTUALLY..... My sh1t rattles too!!! WTF! :\ I have a 3' y pipe installed on my camaro and I hear some rattling..usually over speed bumps or going down a curb.
