Are these specs good as a blower cam...

This is an ultradyne hydraulic roller... I'm pretty sure that these are the correct specs...

Seat Dur Dur @ .050" Lobe Lift w/1.5 w/1.6 rockers

284 218 .3280 .492 .525
288 234 .3533 .530 .565

112 LSA

I don't know if that is enough to really tell, but it is nice an fat on the exhaust side which is good... Is there any way to tell how much overlap it has??? Somebody who is good with cams chime in and tell me if this is a good cam to go with. I just finished striking a deal for a walbro 340... next big mod is the cam so I want to know if I should start buying valve springs, rockers, locks and retainers. Thanks.

You really need to do a search. There has been a lot of cam discussion here recently. Without more info, I can't be terribly specific. But in general I'd like to see more lift and a bigger LSA.

TTT, I have tried calling the damn ultradyne number but for some reason the phone just keeps ringing. That's why I'm posting here. Anybody?

That's a really big split in duration, and the LSA is 112 too.

I'd take a pass, I'd look for something with 6 to 10 degrees of split and run it on a 114 LSA...

I am going to run a 230/237//115+2 in my new LS6 Vortech YS trim setup, I am hopefully going to make peak HP around 6800.
