Hey guys, the situation is as follows. Last night returning from the start of Gumball 3000 (http://gumball3000.com) my clutch failed, a McLeod Rev-Lok II. It had less than 2000 miles on it. The problem was most definitely a bad part or bad install which has not yet been determined. Even if I was beating the hell out of it, which I was not, I've been told my multiple mechanics it would be impossible for the clutch to fail that soon if installed and working properly, especially the Rev-Lok II. Eitherway I'm still not interested in sticking in the same clutch. I did buy and had installed updated GM Hydraulics at the same time of the clutch install. I need some good recommendations. If I were to decide now I think I might go with the clutch equipped on all Z06's, but I do have a little time to decide. The mechanics shouldn't be done pulling my car apart until sometime tomorrow. Will or should I revert back to the stock clutch hydraulics? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

What exactly happened to the disc? What failed while you were driving? Did the clutch just not grab anymore? Give us some details on how it acted.

As I was pulling into a parking garage I noticed my clutch pedal became incredibly soft. After that, I hadn't taken it out of first gear nor was a I traveling at anything above 10 mph. The disc is burnt up according to the mechanic but they have not contacted me on the cause yet.

Dude, call the company and tell them their parts failed. I bet you still have a warranty. My SPEC went out, (my fault installing) and they rebuilt it. All I had to pay for is S&H.
