does anyone know what a 2000 Trans Am should be with the current with everything off? I am at about 7.89 with eveything off. My prob. is that I left for Germany for 2 1/2 weeks and when i got back my batt. was dead. the Batt. was only 8 mo. old. it only had 2 volt when i got back home. if anyone has had this prob. please let me know.

Not sure of exact specs. But in general 50ma is max. Leave your ammeter connected and start pulling fuses with everything off till you find the draw. Then chase the wire to the draw.
EDIT: make sure your battery is fully charged when you do this.

Already did that the fuse from the PWR ACCY is the one that cuts the current. when I plug it back in the spedo gear moves. like when i first start the car.

Guess the next step is to get a wiring diagram and start unpluging stuff. Just be sure that if you think it is a module, that current is not just feeding through it. What I mean is disconnect each wire from the connector if you find draw goes away on a module. Once I had a switch for the anti-theft draw when it was partially open. Draw went away when I unplugged the module, but new module didn't fix it. And some of those modules are $400+ and not refundable if opened  . Just a heads up.
