Hey guys, how hard is it to remove the heads on an LT1 with the ARP head studs with the engine in the car? (above how hard it is to remove the damn heads anyway...).

Thanks,
TJ

If you have the new ARP head studs that can be remove with an allen wrench, then it is pretty much as simple as removing the heads that have head bolts.

Well, if I'd have posted in advanced, maybe... But who needs head studs more than supercharged guys? Besides the subject line kinda gives away what I'm talking about...

Be sure to put good sealant (I used ARP thread sealant) on all the threads (top and bottom) and on both side of the washer to be safe. If not you will be seeping coolant. Forget about the lubricant.

cheers
