Which clay bar is preffered? Zaino, Meguires, Mothers, other?

 

Of the different ones I've tried I prefer the Zaino clay bars.

 

Zaino's clay is great!

Mother's and Clay Magic are good alternatives.

Meguiar's just plain sucks, at least their clay anyhow.

 

Clay Magic should be added to the list to chose from.

 

Z-18 Zaino claybar is highly recommended.

 

I've used Meguire's and Zaino's, and Meguire's is just JUNK. It left residue everywhere, stuck to the paint, etc...

Zaino's worked very, very well... my only wish is that the Zaino bar would hold together better.... but that probably is just a sign that it's time for a new piece of clay anyway.

I like the Mother's Clay

Meguiar's isn't that good. Eagle One's clay compared to others isn't good but for how cheap it is, then it does a good job It is just real soft and streaks easily.

You can buy the Mother's clay outside the kit. You just have to call them. You get three bars, which I think it like 7.5oz, for around $25. Pretty good price for the clay and I really like it. I use Meguiar's Gold Class car soap as lubricant when I'm using clay.
