Will a LT1 stock cam work in a 305 V8?

Just what the topic said. A guy wants to buy my stock LT1 cam, just wondering if it'd work.

I want one for my LB9.

From what I've read, its a direct replacement. You might have to tap the dowel pin in a little or even grind a little of it off, but other than that, you shouldn't even have to reprogram the ECM, although reprogramming will help if its possible.
